From Proof Copy to Perfection: Learning the Hard Way

OMG, release day is coming up so fast, and I just got my first author copy! Thank the gods we went through it with a fine-tooth comb—we caught a few fuck-ups and got them fixed right away. I'm beyond excited, and we even added three new illustrations to the interior. It’s never a dull day around here, that’s for sure!

I’ve already started working on book two, but I’m taking my time with this one. I learned so much during the debut process. I even started a full book bible this time around, and let me tell you, having organized notes is already a lifesaver. Knowledge is power, so I picked up a few craft and grammar books to sharpen my writing style and daily routines. Always learning, always leveling up.
